Katherine Dodds, AKA “Kat”, got her start in advertising at Adbusters, and learned to run a company through her work with The Corporation. Founder of Hello Cool World - she is known for highly effective and slick campaigns - in film, video, print and web - using the power of branding to work on social issues and the potential of social media to engage publics. She is obsessively committed to collaboration and co-promotion.
Sandy has been on The Corporation grassroots team since 2005. A specialist in digital storytelling and a top-notch writer, she nurses her inner geek by overseeing web production and evaluating online metrics.
A co-founder of Free Geek Vancouver and Indymedia, and the original founder of Communicopia, Scott has sat on several non-profit, progressive boards and is CTO for Peace Geeks, a charitable start-up that provides technology assistance to peace and human security projects in the developing world. A Bitcoin and Drupal champion, Scott has been consulting with Hello Cool World since the early days of The Corporation.
Bella has been working with Hello Cool World since 2011, using her prodigious skills in communications and social media. Her roles include multi-media producer, project manager, videographer and graphic designer.
David has honed his lifelong commitment to gender justice and social cause campaigning with Hello Cool World since he joined in 2001 when he was just 14 years old. Along the way, he learned kick-ass video editing skills and has been doing volunteer coordination, social media and outreach for this project, including editing the pitch video.
Colette has been with Hello Cool World since the heady days of The Corporation launch when she spearheaded major marketing & grassroots outreach campaigns in Canada and the USA. She also has extensive film festival programming and PR experience. Passionate about both film and social change, she will be helping us promote this campaign and to engage audiences.
Atef has been our our webmaster, developer and programmer extraordinaire since 2007. He is essential in keeping the machinery behind our campaigns working, and has built numerous websites, modules and online tools.
Terry honed his talents with the activist Vancouver magazine Adbusters and has a long history working on social marketing campaigns for non-profit, civic and environmental organizations in Vancouver. He developed our famous logo for The Corporation and all its various extensions over the year. Terry has a particular knack for illustration and his original graphics are proudly featured in all of Hello Cool World's major projects and campaigns.
