Filmmaker - Producer, Director, Executive Producer
Mark Achbar is one of a wave of non-fiction feature filmmakers reaching large international audiences through mainstream theatres, TV, DVD, and the internet. After studying Film at Syracuse University, he worked on independent drama, documentaries, and books until he found his footing as the driving force behind the two most successful Canadian feature documentaries ever made.
Filmmaker - Director, Editor
Jennifer Abbott is a Canadian filmmaker who has been experimenting with media as a form of intellectual and creative expression and activism for almost 25 years. Abbott is largely self-taught struggling over the course of 5 years to make her first feature documentary, A Cow at My Table. At the time and before she learned the pitfalls of hyperbole, she would often be heard saying that her film meant so much to her that when it was done, she’d feel her life had been worthwhile and could die.

Joel Bakan is an author, filmmaker and a professor of law at the University of British Columbia whose work examines the social, economic, and political dimensions of law. A former Rhodes Scholar and law clerk to Chief Justice Brian Dickson of the Supreme Court of Canada, with law degrees from the universities of Oxford, Dalhousie, and Harvard, Bakan has won numerous awards for his scholarship and teaching, worked on landmark legal cases and government policy, and served frequently as a media commentator.

Bart Simpson has been part of the Canadian documentary and fiction community for the past eight years, and joined THE CORPORATION during the development days of late 1998. Previously, Bart has worked in various capacities on such documentary films as Nettie Wild's Genie-Award winning A Place Called Chiapas and David Vaisbord's Juicy Danger Meets Burning Man. Bart currently serves as National Chairperson of the Documentary Organization of Canada (DOC), an association of over 500 documentary filmmakers across the country.
Filmmaker - Sound Designer & Music Supervisor
Velcrow Ripper is a Genie award winning filmmaker, writer, and sound designer. He has directed over thirty films and videos, both fiction and issue oriented documentary including the spiritual activism trilogy: Scared Sacred, Fierce Light and Occupy Love.
Filmmaker - Narrator
Mikéla j. mikael is an international singer & actor. She began her professional singing career in 1994, finding her voice in the underground electronica scene in belgium, germany, holland & the u.k. Yet, as lead singer of vancouver's emerging trip-hop duo 'unspoken' created with collaborator len paul, her lyrics & spoken word pieces have become increasingly relevant.
Filmmaker - Composer
Leonard Paul attained his Honours degree in Computer Science at Simon Fraser University in BC, Canada with an Extended Minor in Music concentrating in electroacoustics. He has a ten year history in video games with over ten titles to his credit and currently teaches Game Audio at the Vancouver Film School.

Grassroots campaign - Campaign & Creative Director
Katherine Dodds, AKA “Kat”, got her start in advertising at Adbusters, and learned to run a company through her work with The Corporation. Founder of Hello Cool World - she is known for highly effective and slick campaigns - in film, video, print and web - using the power of branding to work on social issues and the potential of social media to engage publics. She is obsessively committed to collaboration and co-promotion. In 2007 she received a “Woman of Vision” Award from Women in Film.
Grassroots campaign - Director of Online Content & Strategy
Sandy has been on The Corporation grassroots team since 2005. A specialist in digital storytelling and a top-notch writer, she nurses her inner geek by overseeing web production and evaluating online metrics.
Grassroots campaign - Senior Graphic Designer
Terry honed his talents with the activist Vancouver magazine Adbusters and has a long history working on social marketing campaigns for non-profit, civic and environmental organizations in Vancouver. He developed our famous logo for The Corporation and all its various extensions over the year. Terry has a particular knack for illustration and his original graphics are proudly featured in all of Hello Cool World's major projects and campaigns.

Atef has been our our webmaster, developer and programmer extraordinaire since 2007. He is essential in keeping the machinery behind our campaigns working, and has built numerous websites, modules and online tools. 
Grassroots campaign - Marketing & Promotions Consultant
Colette has been with Hello Cool World since the heady days of The Corporation launch when she spearheaded major marketing & grassroots outreach campaigns in Canada and the USA. She also has extensive film festival programming and PR experience. Passionate about both film and social change, she will be helping us promote this campaign and to engage audiences.
Grassroots campaign - Video Editor & Volunteer Coordinator
David has honed his lifelong commitment to gender justice and social cause campaigning with Hello Cool World since he joined in 2001 when he was just 14 years old. Along the way, he learned kick-ass video editing skills and has been doing volunteer coordination, social media and outreach for this project, including editing the pitch video. 
Grassroots campaign - Consultant & Drupal Expert
A co-founder of Free Geek Vancouver and Indymedia, and the original founder of Communicopia, Scott has sat on several non-profit, progressive boards and is CTO for Peace Geeks, a charitable start-up that provides technology assistance to peace and human security projects in the developing world. A Bitcoin and Drupal champion, Scott has been consulting with Hello Cool World since the early days of The Corporation.
Grassroots campaign - Videographer
Bella has been working with Hello Cool World since 2011, using her prodigious skills in communications and social media. Her roles include multi-media producer, project manager, videographer and graphic designer.
